Colorado DTRS
The majority of public safety communications in Routt County are handled on Colorado DTRS.
All law enforcement agencies besides Colorado State Patrol in Routt County are dispatched on Routt County Law Enforcement 1 (talkgroup 11650).
Colorado State Patrol Troop 4B provides state law enforcement services for Routt County, as well as neighboring Grand, Jackson, Rio Blanco, and Moffat counties. Troop 4B can be found on talkgroup 8104.

Buffalo Pass (003) Located 9 miles from Steamboat Springs on Buffalo Pass. This site covers most of Steamboat Springs, as well as US-40 stopping just before Hayden and Kremmling.
Emerald Mountain (51) Located on top of Emerald Mountain in Steamboat Springs, this site has similar coverage to Buffalo Pass, with stronger signal in downtown Steamboat Springs.
Farwell Mountain (49) Located atop Farwell Mountain, this site covers nearly all of northern Routt County, from Steamboat Springs to the Wyoming border.
Hayden (43) Located near Hayden, this site covers all of Hayden and Craig (Moffat County), and much of the US-40 between Hayden and Steamboat Springs.
King Mountain (1F) Located 3 miles south of Toponas atop King Mountain, this site covers all of southern Routt County from Hayden to the southern county border.
Oak Creek (5C) Located south of Steamboat Springs in Oak Creek, this site covers the town of Oak Creek as well as much of southern Routt County.
Walton Peak (25) Located on Rabbit Ears Pass, this site covers much of eastern Routt County, as well as some of Steamboat Springs, and the town of Kremmling.

County Law Enforcement 1 (11658) All law enforcement agencies in Routt County are dispatched on this channel.
County Fire 1 (11659) All fire departments in Routt County are dispatched on this channel.
Northwestern Colorado Console-to-Console Net (8071) This talkgroup links dispatch centers throughout Northwestern Colorado allowing dispatchers to quickly relay information to one another. Some traffic of note to Routt County may be heard on this talkgroup.
